DIY napkin ring

This is a cool example how anyone can transform a simple boring napkin ring into a "bling" napkin ring. 

Materials you will need for this project: 

1. any simple cheap napkin ring - wood, plastic or metal, wider ones give better final efect
2. decorative beads of your choice (bought mine in a craft store)
3. clear glue
4. possibly scissors, q-tips and tweezers
5. imagination;)

I chose these blue beads since my dining room is a mix of brown, white and blue accent color

I glue one bigger bead on each side of my napkin ring and afterwards started to add some smaller ones

Another suggestion:

Flea markets are the best places to find napkin ring inspirations. For example one can come across  some vintage brooches or  interesting looking buttons and use them instead of beads

My recent purchase

These two little ambiance lamps were just screaming at me to buy them. They are the perfect fit for my living space placed on my standing shelves and illuminating this part of the room. Always remember lighting plays a critical role in interior design. Light is the element that sets the entire mood of the room causing a range of emotions for you and your guests:)

Our little paradise

First of all my apology for lack of any posts through month of June. It was busy time for us with work, my son's school and our vacations. We did accomplish however one of our long time pending projects Gazebo area in the garden. Have a look and see if you like it. I'm so proud of the final result. We enjoy sitting there with a book or glass of wine and just relax. So here are few pics of our little paradise;)
