I'm thinking Yellow

and if you ask why? Well, for many reasons. First of all it is such a cheerful and warm color. It reminds me of sun and blooming dandelions somewhere on a meadow

I guess it makes sense now since Spring is already here;)
This color just shines with optimism and happiness and who doesn't like to be happy:)

Lemon is the scent of Yellow therefore Yellow seems refreshing and uplifting

 Yellow is one of the top colors in the world of fashion this Spring and Summer

and finally Yellow is an accent color in my bedroom and I absolutely love it!

However, as you probably noticed, I used it in small quantities, mixing it with dominating gray and some white, just to draw some attention- reason: yellow is also, believe it or not, considered the most fatiguing to the eye due to the high amount of light that is reflecting

 My recommendations:
  • mix Yellow with neutral gray and a dash of black for a high-tech look
  • for an earthy palette, especially for fall, mix Yellow with for example olive green and brown-wonderful color combination
  • very pale Yellow can work as neutrals along side darker or richer colors

and here they are my faves interior inspirations with Yellow:)

Flower Power

Don’t sit dreaming about warmer climates; cheer yourself up with some floral prints and bring some sunshine back into your dull looking winter wardrobe or into your house. Floral prints are doing a big comeback this spring and not just on the runways. There is a burst of colors and floral patterns everywhere. Here are some of my favorites floral fashion trends:)

In the interior design world, spring also means an onslaught of floral patterns. Certainly, floral designs are a great way to bring a bit of spring into your home, to transfer some of that outdoor beauty into your indoor spaces. However, like any look,  floral patterns can become a bit boring if applied with exaggeration- in interior design and decor especially. Start with flowers on wallpaper and maybe apply it just on one wall making it an accent wall of the room.

Another way you can incorporate flower pattern in your space are through smaller pieces of furniture like for example an accent chair or an ottoman

For more brave ones it can be a couch or maybe few armchairs;)

The best way is just to keep it simple, light and with moderation ;) Few more suggestions;
