Wall Art

I've once read somewhere that a welcoming room begins with well dressed wall. Even though I might not necessarily agree with that statement to the end there is definitely something in it. Nowadays there are plenty of ways to decorate your walls with style. You can pretty much make your wall a masterpiece. There is a huge assortment of unique wall art on the market and on Internet to choose from - the perfect pieces to express your personality and add unique style to your space.

Abstract Metal Wall Art is a great way to spice up a dull room and it is one of my favorite at the moment. This type of art work is commonly made by metal working artists, which means that each piece is almost completely unique. Abstract Metal Wall Art brings new level of contemporary style and character to your space. One of the most popular American metalwork artists is Nicholas Yust. You can admire his pieces and even order one through www.modernabstractdecor.com

Few of my favorites Metal Wall Art choices

Blown glass sculptures are another interpretation of the endless variety of wall art decor and incredibly beautiful with stunning depth and figure in addition to vibrant, mesmerizing colors. I saw it for the first time in Las Vegas in Bellagio Hotel lobby, displayed on the ceiling, it just took my breath away. This most extraordinary glass sculpture called Fiori di Como was designed and made by glass sculptor Dale Chihuly, whose work has been exhibited in every major museum in the world. Here is a pic of it:)

Well, since this piece is for sure out of our price range let's just get inspired by it and look for something more affordable, my recommendation is Glass Artists Gallery

My favorite by them Serpentine Platters

and here one of their other creations. Stunning!

Canvas Art Wall is one of the most common wall decor in today's modern home. Pretty much you can just buy one, be creative and paint it yourself;) or you can order one with your favorite photo printed on it or you can just buy ready one; thousands and thousands of choices awaiting you.

With today's computer technology another most common way to decorate your pad's wall could be with Graphic Art Print. Imagine it nicely framed with some halogen lights illuminating it, or maybe transformed into a wall paper. Possibilities are endless!

Graphic Art Prints from Yayart, are pretty interesting and to my liking. Check out their website

Decals and Murals, as they say: peel and stick it to the wall:) the quickest and easiest way to update your boring room... add some interest, some eye catching element on your walls

Maybe you have a favorite actor you want to put on display;)

... or maybe a singer

... or maybe you just want something from nature

... and how about kid's rooms:):):) so much fun to do it with your little one. Make it an art project

Last for today's post, but not least - Mirrors. Love them, adore them and have them in my house... but I'm not talking just about a regular mirrors, these are Art Mirrors. Combined maybe with wood or metal, dimensional, in different shapes and sizes, that add sparkle to your room, maybe even make it seem larger... Have a look:)
